Role in project
Within workpackage 5 (WP5), NNL ensures the efficient and integrated acquisition of neuroimaging datasets from healthy adolescents. In collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry of King’s College in London, the standardization will be achieved to ensure efficient dataflow, auditing and quality control to identify errors and institute corrective measures. NNL will ensure that all 7 participating MRI centers are equipped with the appropriate hardware for stimulus presentation and behavioral response recording inside the scanner, and that the sequence acquisition guidelines are implemented at all sites.
Within workpackage 7 (WP7), the responsibility of NNL will be to deliver the framework for handling onsite data collection and quality control of the neuroimaging data. In particular this includes development of software as well as standard operating procedures for quality checks of the acquired image data, and preparing (anonymizing and formatting) both the behavioral and imaging data for secure transfer to a central database. Each center will thus be equipped with dedicated workstations which will ensure efficient data assembling and data flow from the respective centers to the centralized database.
