The consortium is composed of internationally leading experts
- in functional and structural neuroimaging,
- genetics,
- behavioural and neuropsychological studies,
- clinicians,
- bioinformatics
- and biostatistics specialists
- as well as ethics experts across Europe.
It unifies the largest experience in behavioural gene – neuroimaging studies outside of the United States and its members are capable of carrying out the ambitious goals outlined in this proposal. To implement these goals, the architecture of the project is based upon a neuroimaging-related component and a genetics-related component. Both components are complementary and interrelated. To achieve this integration, different sub-projects, which reflect key aspects of our proposal have been identified.
